I can almost feel the wings above the water ...

I could SO do with a morning like this!

every element is balanced within the range of itself (i.e. range of hue, range of tone, range of clarity, etc.)and with each of the other elements. I particularly like the wing shadow on the water. Had the crane gone three feet further, you might not have gotten it.
