ada-ipenburg 0 Posted October 15, 2004 Two beautiful by nature lilac coloured mushrooms. I couldn't believe my eyes when I covered this couple between all the brown and yellow ones. Not only their great colour, also the shape of it makes me quiet. I hope you are even impressed by seeing this two as I am. I appreciate your comments. Link to comment
timnichols 0 Posted October 15, 2004 And the acorns are great additions that add interest. Very good, Ada. Getting better! Link to comment
michael_draper 0 Posted October 15, 2004 Hi Ada Were do you find these mushrooms and the colour I don?t think we can get mushrooms like that in Scotland well done. Link to comment
aivarmikko 0 Posted October 16, 2004 Very beautiful. For me there are some problems in upper/left part background, but mushrooms and lower part is just perfect. Fantastic colors. 6/6. Link to comment
bram meijer 0 Posted October 16, 2004 Knetterscherp.
pnital 36 Posted October 17, 2004 Ada,Your mashrooms are wonderful.with the forground forest...The background IMO should have been blured a bit more in order not to distract from the main subject. Still a very good image. Pnina Link to comment
vikram_bose_mullick 0 Posted October 19, 2004 I usually prefer images with stricter composition.. (specially at times when the subject is not running away) so I won't comment on composition or matter.. However I feel I have a tip to offer for situations like this. The color is wrong here (not a big deal for most) but easily corrected by setting the camera to the 'shade' setting in the 'white balance menu'. Link to comment
ada-ipenburg 0 Posted October 21, 2004 I appreciate you took time to review my picture and give comments. Vikram: thank you for giving me your tip. But as far as I know I take this shot with all the camerafunctions into the right position. But perhaps I did not understand what you meant by 'strict'. Do you mean the brightness, sharpness or the colour? My English is not what it used to be so.. maybe you will be so kind to discribe the problem you see ones again to me in other words. Best Regards, Ada. Link to comment
dotbob 0 Posted October 21, 2004 very well done. it would be truly spectacular without the hot spot in upper left. Link to comment
ada-ipenburg 0 Posted October 21, 2004 Thank you very much for your kind words, Bob. The hot spot you see is coming from the sun which shines through the trees on the fallen leaves. Maybe there is a manner to restore it in PS, but I shouldn't know how to do that. But perhaps you have a tip for me? I schould appreciate it very much. Best Regards, Ada. Link to comment

dotbob 0 Posted October 22, 2004 ada, my ps skills aren't so good, so i can't suggest anything there. but i find if i can remember to shade hot spots at the time i take the picture, i'm happier with the results. -- also the colors look fine to me. regards bob Link to comment
