My first attempt using Roger's Hasselblad. Taken late afternoon with

the reflection of bright orange trees on the river. The shaded rocks

took on a purple hue. Critiques appreciated, since landscapes are not

my strong suit....

Great job Linda, I think it's wonderful, the color of the water is really interesting with the reflected leaves. Roger is a sweetie handing over his camera!

Lovely colors, shutter speed is perfect except... shame about the red leaves having moved. You need to turn off the wind next time.

Hasselblad magic. Wonderful details and color and the shutter speed is right on. . . . can you package some of this color and send it down to Texas?

What can I say, Ken....the man came very well equipped...with a Rollei, Nikon, Olympus, plus the Hassy. LOL

Gorgeous colors, Linda.... I love the purple hue of the rocks... and their details. It is not the camera but the photographer that makes the good pictures...!!!

Anyway, enjoy trying your hands on all Roger's equipment!

Working with Linda is quite an experence, there are very few differences, and at the same time, many. I find that Linda looks a few degrees lower than I do, and sees the shadows, and reflections I often miss. I will see details such as animals and single items of interest Linda often misses. Over all a good balance.

Linda is a natural with what ever she has a hand at, and took to the Hassablad like a fish to water...now if I can only coax it back from her...smile ! (And please,God, do not let her have control over the WIND or TIDES) *^)

Beautiful colors and nice composition. I'm contemplating whether or not to suggest cropping off the colorful top which would further emphasize the rocks and the colorful plants in the foreground...hmmm...may be not. Hey, nice 'Blad! ^_^

Wonderfully done Linda, Good detail and stunning color. And a note to Roger, "winds and tides are only a small part of a womans mastery," you will learn to love it.

Well Linda, you wouldn't be the first woman to marry a man for his "equipment". Obviosly, the honeymoon is still on and the magic is still in the air. Think you captured a small piece of it here.
