jmoody 0 Posted October 13, 2004 Thoughts? Critiques? Ratings? (I did have to lower the orange-tones a little so that my daughter didn't look like just another pumpkin in the shot. Is it noticeable? Any tips on how to do it better?) Link to comment
jim_trombley 0 Posted October 13, 2004 I like the subject and background. As for the color thing, you could have used a bit of fill flash or maybe a reflector to lighten up the shadowed areas on your daughter. I personally like it just the way it is. Nice job. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted December 5, 2004 I like it the way it is. Very natural. The composition is just perfect. A fill flash / reflector from the right might help, but it could change the mood. The emphasis of the low sunlight suggesting late afternoon giving it a sense of time is what makes this shot wonderful (IMHO). It captures the child's dilemma between going home (the body facing left) and staying here with the pumpkin (the stare at the pumpkin). I think it is a brilliant shot. Perhaps your title should be "the dilemma". 7/7 Link to comment
emichael 0 Posted September 12, 2006 to make the color correction better, you should consider decresing the amount of magenta in the photo Link to comment
