Wind was strong, so tough to get any reflection or to keep grass from

swaying. So went with the flow and make it a soft look. Thoughts?

I think the soft look works great with the great pastel colors in the sky. The warm cast on the water and windmills is great. I love it.

I like it a lot! The foregound reeds and being dragged away by the windmills into the flat distance, you got the essence of the canals and windmills, where reeds are primary citizens. I love it!

Amazing shot. The line of windmills really "leads" me into the shot. The only thing that bothers me here is the slight tilt of the image. Well done.

The compostion, color and lighting is beautiful. Love the sunset reflection colors in the water and the perspective of the windmills. Did you personally line those blades up? LOL What are the chances they'd be in sync!

Wonderful image. Good composition, color, light, all is great here, 8/7

This is a very nice scene.

Congratulations!

Would have gone for a 7/5 if the clouds had been different. Its quite a light and airey image, so maybe lighter, whispy clouds would have suited it better. But that's a fairly small point, this is a gorgeous image.

I love it! The lined up windmills are only one part of the greatness of this image. The colors in the sky and in the reflection are also wonderful. Great work, Wilson!!

I have not seen your other work. THIS ONE ROCKS! I love the clear lines, the colors, the reflections, the gentle brushes across the water. I love this photo! A job well done..

Very very nice image in terms of color added drama. I really like this one. Having said that I was also wondering about cutting some grass in the FG -- cropping off the bottom %15 -- any thoughts?

Thank you ladies and gents for your favorable feedback. Appreciate it.

Ray, as for cropping off foreground, I did in fact almost uploaded that version instead (4:3, cropped out bottom,) but went with original capture (3:2) to retain the reddish reflection at bottom and more foreground element to establish depth. Cropping is a funny thing, isn't it. I'm sure I'll second guess the choice again sitting there at the office comparing the two. Perhaps worth posting it? We'll see. ^_^
