Very smart, very nice shot. I can definately see three little figures at the bottom of the photo. The use of the trail makes it easier to find these ant-like feagures.

Nice abstract of such a huge thing - exposure is perfect and the people add the real dimension to it. I like it very much!

The idea is great and -having been a few times on the other side of the camera in such shots- gives you the feeling of how small you feel out there.

 

I wish we did not see the artificial structure in the bottom left corner, though: shooting a bit later could have had a great advantage of having them higher in the frame. This would have been great so that it looked more "adventure" since one would have seen less the well-traced trace. Moreover you could have used a longer focal lenght and gave a tad more relevance to the four mountaneers. Do not take me wrong, though, it's really great, those are just perfectionistic suggestions. Thanks for posting it.

Salvatore, You are absolutely right, though the only artificial thing in this photo is the manmade-track. Took this photo long time back before my eye had any photographical training at all, no excuse of course

I checked the larger image again. It looks like is a crevasse with a strange light, indeed. Touche`. Still, it's distracting... you have to go back there soon, then!
