I added some elements to this image yesterday, taking it deeper into

the the realm of myth and arcetype. So I am posting this newer

version. It made a very sharp print at 12x30.

How do you get such long prints, Dennis? Did you use paper on rolls? On which printer?

This is very nice. It does have a bit of a spooky look to it.

Greetings to you once again, its been along time. Yes to get wide long prints I use roll paper. I like the Epson luster paper which comes in rolls 13" wide and I print on a Epson 2200 the 1280 and the 1270 will all print 13 wide by 42 to 44" long.I also use Epsons Enhanced Matte paper but that comes in 16.5 wide rolls. So I cut it down to 13" using a chop saw with a plywood blade. Its a wonderfull paper and I use it for most of my panoramic images. I enjoyed looking at your new work yesterday. Doing good.

Very nice image, very evocative, even without the addition of a ghost and a sword, which are not necessary in my opinion.

The elements that I put into an image have deep symbolic meaning for me, they are not just there to look cool, but come from dreams and Jungian psychology and influnced by the work of members of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood of 1848 who's convicition was that the function of the artist was to interpret and record his/her own emotions and experience. They were obsessed with feminine beauty and the romance of the middle ages and much of there work had a mystical quality. Just view the work of Dante Gabriel Rossetti. I use the sword in a lot of these conceptual images I make because it is such a strong symbol to me. A symbol of good and evil. The sword cuts both ways its a symbol of all creative cutting tools and all the wepons of war. Its in how we choose to use it. A choice we all must make.
