kslonaker 0 Posted October 5, 2004 Bente, I love this! 7/7 from me and I'm not that generous with those 7's! Link to comment
bram meijer 0 Posted October 6, 2004 If it was in sepia color... 7/7. Very very nice: the composition, the light! Regards, Bram Link to comment
bentes_world 0 Posted October 6, 2004 Bram ..... thanks for the comments and your generoucity. Funny you should mention it Bram but I do have a sepia version of this (Mrs. Sepia is my midlle name) Francesco, Doriano, Paul and Igor ....thanks for stopping by. Your comments are always appreciated. Regina ... The light did confuse me very much when I shot it. The objects are placed low down between 2 windows and closest to the left of them and therefore I expected the light to be strongest from the left. So it looked for me when I was shooting but I hope I will get better to controle the light even it turned out in a good way here... Kim ...you are right about the 7's. We don't want them to loose their value so I do appreciate your using of them on my photo very much. Thanks Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted October 6, 2004 Bent, the subject looks like the works of the masters of Paintings. Very nice composition and light.Pnina Link to comment
bradkim 8 Posted October 8, 2004 Excellent still-life, Bente...!!! I can see you paid a lot of attention to the placement of objects for a perfect composition.... A masterpiece...!!! Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted October 9, 2004 I enjoyed playing with your image. I like the set up very much but I find the tone/contrast a bit too dull (table, leaves, background plate and figs). A lot to explore with that...thanks Link to comment
jastrzebski 0 Posted October 10, 2004 Few purely BW photographs, without toning, work for me. But this one does. Sepia would be probably as good, though. 6/6. Thanks. Link to comment
bentes_world 0 Posted October 16, 2004 Marek .... thnaks for your comment. I'm very pleased that think I succeeded in doing a still ... and for the sepia ... yes I'll upload it now ( Mrs. Sepia I am) Pnina - the subject looks like the works of the masters of Paintings - are great words. Thanks. Truth is it is taken in my old barn with too many windows and a dirty wooden plate as background..... and the grapes and the figs tasted well after teh shooting. Darko, Jayme, Jay and Donna .. thanks for stopping by. I do appreciate you taking time to leave a comment ... always nice when someone shows interest. Ken ... just keep looking...(-; Brad ... words comming from you who I admire so much ( take a look at Brad's folder ... containes some of the best work I know of on PN) really pleases me. Thanks ...and Jacques .... you are wondering how it looks in colors? ...it could have looked the way you are supposing .... what a great work you have done on my photo (must have taken some time to do it) and of course I now have to upload the original photo in color too. Thanks for taking you time Jacques.... Link to comment
