max zappa 0 Posted October 4, 2004 Very nice shot here, showing a beautifully relaxing scene, carefully composed by the looks of it too. I have the same camera Tony, is the infra-red effect an option in the camera, if it is I must try it sometime?. Well done Max ZAPPA. Link to comment
tony georgiadis 0 Posted October 4, 2004 Max thanks for your comment.IR is not an option you have to get an IR filter to be able to shoot IR, a Hoya R72 wich is a pseudo color IR.but if you have around 2 polarizers and a neutral density filter stack them all together then you could at least try without buying the filter...then if you think it's interesting then get the IR Filter but you will still need a couple of ND filters a ND4 AND A ND8 you will have to stack them together depending on the light.you will set your camera to NIGHTSHOT MODE and start shooting.but after you made some shots there is a post processing you have to follow to get the final result...but for the start do Auto levels and convert it to B&W then you shall see your first IR.nOW IF YOU WILL STILL BE INTERESTED THEN SEND ME AN E-MAIL and I will tell you what post processing you will have to follow.Good luck. wilsontsoi 0 Posted October 6, 2004 Tony, another really wonderful IR. Congratulations! It indeed takes a lot of experimenting, practice, and post capture processing to be successful in IR with the R72. Thank you Tony for showing us all how to tackle it. ^_^ Link to comment

Landrum Kelly 64 Posted October 7, 2004 Just about perfect. This would work in ordinary color and B&W, too, I would think. Link to comment
KenPapai 37 Posted November 10, 2008 Much too small to critique but the composition appears perfect and the setting serene, pretty, and natural. Link to comment
