Actually it's not bad, but you've split the horizon line in the middle. Better to have it higher or lower than dead center. The foam on the bottom is distracting, better to 'touch it out'. (see sample). It is a lot of fun though. Enjoy/Blessings. MS

Kevin, I like your original post better even though the horizon is dead center. It works nicely for me in this situation. I guess sometimes rules are meant to be broken? The foam bubbles at bottom doesn't bother me, either way is fine. Wonderful sky and splashes of waves. ^_^

I like the opposition of the streaks in the sky vs. the splash of the incoming wave. For me there's no problem having the horizon in the middle. Would like fence to look sharper though.

Good landscape work, IMO, is like catching lightning in a bottle. Composite work is like creating lightning in a lab. Use the HDR process, if you must, but there is just something romantic about hanging in there with the elements waiting for the perfect moment. Those who do that get cheated by a shot on a bright, sunny day being blended with a canned sky that could be cut out of any magazine. JMO.
