afterthoughts 0 Posted October 2, 2004 The first version of this image was a bit sloppy on the post processing. I am submitting a revised version where I believe I have corrected the problems. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted October 2, 2004 I love the foggy feel of the backround in contrast with the crisp detail of the foreground. Makes a wonderful B&W. Tonal range is phenominal. Nice job! Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted October 2, 2004 Very nice! I don't think that the cows look one big lump. :-) The tree is just enough off-center to balance nicely, and I like the burn on the sky around the tree. But in the other shot, I like that it was a bit closer-up. Nice anyway!! Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted October 3, 2004 Well, darn, Howard - I don't remember what all I said the first time around! I know I liked it because I like the high-key effect and I think it works on cows, too. Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted October 3, 2004 Howard, cool capture indeed. I really like how the background blended in to fog-like atmosphere. This one leans a bit more toward a photograph as in opposed to pencil drawing, but it still works very nicely. If anything, I'd say trim off a teeny bit from top and left. Still, very nice. ^_^ Link to comment
