It's cropped a little too tightly, I think.

Hi Dmitry Mozzherin. Lovely photo. I feel if there was a balanced reflection (full bird or cropped bird), the picture would stand out.

Thank you for your comment! I was lucky with this one. This guy was sitting quietly on the pile of dirt doing nothing while I was slowly approaching a great blue heron near by. The blue heron did not like my presence and left, so I decided to make a shot of this one instead and go home. It was 10 minutes before the sunset. After couple of shots green heron unexpectedly jumped to the water, caught a fish, and left as well. All of it took about 2 minutes.

Dmitry, this is a great shot. I've just moved to Greenlawn/Huntington from Chicago - I didn't even know there WERE green herons nearby. Where exactly was this? Thanks!

There is a perfect balance of the colors between the surrounding and the bird. Looks me like a jewel. Fantastic. Congratulations 7/7

Christopher, this picture was made close to West Meadow Beach located between Stony Brook and Old Field (Long Island)

Yes, I think I like it better with a more full reflection of the bird.
