Close(d), but no cigar. (have to try this pun) :D

Love the color, clarity and all; composition is a tad on the busy side, imho. 6/6

I'll take a 6/6 from someone of your photographic caliber anytime. The original crop was a lot busier than this. I had to work to simplify it. Thanks for your comment and rating.

Very busy, but it still works. I think the evenly lined up pieces of this are what's making it okay for me. On the left, you have the crates nicely stacked with a basket on top. In the middle, the door with the signs and on the right another combination of nicely balanced items. The vivid colors here and there help, too.

I love your critical reviews. They are so helpful and constructive and are from a very good photographer. This is why this site is so valuable! Thanks.

Ken, this reminds me of my kids' Treasure Hunt book, where there are a list of things for you to find within the picture. Although very busy, the green in the fern and the orange in the "Sunkist" anchor the shot. Glad you added the awning as it provides depth. Interestingly, the image can be divided into 3 vertical portion. From left to right, 1.) the fern, shelf, and the stand below, 2.) the door, and 3.) the Sunkist vending machine, the boxes and baskets. Very interesting. ^_^

Ken, I really like this image. Lots of detail that shows the personality of the owner. Example, two CLOSED signs. A green sign and a red sign. Very interesting.

Leave it to Kim and Wilson to provide a critical and helpful analysis of the composition. I am honored, once again, by positive comments from all of you whose work I admire and respect.

You have tremendously influenced the way I expose my photos with PS. Thanks for your feedback and help. This kind of thing is what makes PN so valuable.
