kevin nesbitt 0 Posted September 28, 2004 Composition..Great. This is an Image I know well as a Fisherman!... It might look nice with some RED in the water Depicting The end of the Four Year Spawning Cycle of A determined Salmon who has Faught Hard To Ensure survival of It's species. Beautiful work ! salvatore.mele 1 Posted September 28, 2004 I find the composition very powerful with the rocks anchoring the view: the will stay there for long, and simmetric to the fish which, although temporarly as still as they are, will eventually decay. The choice of the shutter time is also well thought: we get enough water motion to give us the feeling of passing time -which enhances my rock/fish contrast- but not too much bridal-veil effect. The latter is to commend: that's a sharp scene of death, after all, and it would been less harsh if too much of a soft foamy white was artificially appearing all around. Very well done.
