Summer break: staying cool.

...which means the time of the year when in high latitudes, close to

the North Pole, the ice pack melts...and polar bears cannot roam on

the pack to hunt.

 

I know it's grainy (it's a 30% crop of the full frame) but I'd

appreciate comments on the crop.

I prefer the original Sal. You go to the most interesting places.

I like the composition after cropping but there's some visible grains, which I think it should be easily subdued thru software.

The color balance is a little too biased for Magenta so much so that the snow also has the color tint.

Other than these, the image should be well on its way for publication. Interesting to view.Thanks for sharing!

that whoever gave you a 3/4 on this seldom gets out of the house. I would agree that the crop is not as clean as the original. Guess you didn't carry your 600 mm lens with you that day. Nicely done!
