Home away from home ... Bodie, California - April 2004

Going to Bodie, especially during the off-season, is simply awe-inspiring ... to say the least. If, and when, you go, take a quiet moment and simply absorb it all in ... drift back in time ... and most likely you'll experience something special. I have had many great visits to Bodie ... If you look close at this picture you will see smoke rising from one of the chimneys. Witnessing this site, especially in a ghost town, was one of those special moments.
