i like the stange angle the boat finds itself in, and the mysteriousness of the photo, as if there is some storm on the way, or whatever, something like that, nice shot.

The old style iris effect works nicely. I am as yet undecided on the red buoy. My eye definately jumps there, and because of its proximity to the pier eventually goes back to the boat, but...

I like the processing; it is very rich in color! The composition is very nice with the line leading the eye to the boat. I wonder, however, how it would look if you moved to the left so that the line moved from the boat right and down toward the corner. Perhaps this would have placed you in the water :) I am not sure if I like the bright white on the right side of the boat, but all in all, this is a fantastic, moody shot. Congrats!

Aaron, Byron, Christopher, and Sarah, thanks for all of your comments. Changing the angle would have put me in the water--up to my hips at least. I'm not sure about the red bouy either.
