laura_spell2 0 Posted September 23, 2004 Potentially a good shot. In my opinion, there is too much water, makes viewing diffficult, as I have to scroll down to see all of the scene. Link to comment
micheleberti 0 Posted September 23, 2004 Una foto molto malinconica a mio modo di vedere. Soggetto interessante. Link to comment

edgars_purins 0 Posted September 25, 2004 Francesco - what did you want to emphasize with this picture ? A water ? Then why the boat ? A Boat - then why ? It will soon be out of frame anyway. Can't understand Maria comment. Did you take this picture together with Maria ? Sorry, I coudn't resist not to say something on this. This is definite 3/3 for me, if I would rate. Link to comment
francescomartini 0 Posted September 25, 2004 whit this picture i don't want to emphasize anithing...i've ONLY made this shot...to isolate this Gondola from many other arond....!!! The "canal Grande" in venice is alvays full of boats and Gondole......i've take only one!!!!! Is this a problem???? Link to comment
edgars_purins 0 Posted September 25, 2004 Francesco, this was just a critique from my side. I would suggest you isolate your main subject, as you wrote; "lonely gondola", by using shallow DOF, mist or fog or rain, so that critiquers like me , who were not with you, can understand this is Grand Canal and there are more gondoles around. Otherwise this looks just like any water. Tell me, if you want only positive critique, then I will not bother you with comments on this photo. Link to comment
