henrimanguy 0 Posted September 23, 2004 This photo was taken at Ile Tudy, which, as its name does not indicate it, is not a island but a peninsula, two or three kilometres long and about 200 metres wide. The houses of the village at the end are so near of the beach that some of the inhabitants spread out their linen in front of the sea, just above the beach. I found it funny and typical and thought it merrited a shot. Link to comment
jayme 0 Posted September 24, 2004 I'm trying to figure out why I like this. The colors are pleasing, love the green of the water, coordinated with the laundry. I like the grainy feel too. Does it work with the horizon and post straightened or not? I think I might straigten the horizon, but not the post. The leaning of the post gives it a temporary feel, I like that, especially on a beach. NIce eye for the interesting. Link to comment
john falkenstine 1 Posted September 25, 2004 Nice scene but there are processing artifacts, especially the trousers (Pantalons a gauche). Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted September 25, 2004 Nice sea colour, shallow water and bright sun! Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted September 27, 2004 Thank you for your comments. Jaime, I think that in this sort of photo it is not a great problem if the horizon is a bit tilted (I am more demanding with landscape photos). As for the post, it is tilted in real. John, I don't know where you see processing artifacts on the trousers or elsewhere. Link to comment
john falkenstine 1 Posted October 1, 2004 Artifacts here showing retouch or something done. Link to comment
henrimanguy 0 Posted October 1, 2004 Perhaps have I not good eyes (at fifty years old, it is possible), but sincerely I don't see artifacts here, just clothes pegs. If I remember well (but my memory is not better than my eyes), I have made no retouch on this photo. Link to comment

paula grenside 0 Posted January 27, 2007 Just beautiful, and they won't stay clean long, so low and the wind blowing. Link to comment
