Monumental

mediumformat

Tripod, f11, approx. 1 second, no filters, 80mm/2.8 lens. Contiuing my exploration of people movements at monument sites, I find the National Gallery portico to be rather eerie: tall, cold, hard, and no welcome mat for people. Are these people fleeing?

Very interesting. The deep of field is a must with the column in the foreground. A very good sense of space. Congratulations.

Slightly cropped version of the original based on some feedback from

a few experienced eyes. Any comments and criticism welcome. Thanks.

You hit them both, Artistic and Street Photography. Seeing theres another Piller, I'd almost like to see what it would have looked like with the framing of the two pillers (Just a possible suggestion). Although, as in most street shooting, you have to take what you can get. I love the use of B&W. Great Shot.
