I just wonder perhaps 1/60 speed was too slow to capture the waves

sharp however, the silhouette and mountains are crisp and clear.

Still, I think the mood is just right. Any comments?

This image is very special to me. Why? Just look at the details, I managed to sharpen it just right without causing a halo to appear on the lamp post, mountains etc. This is always a problem with digital sharpening. If you look at my other images you'll know what I mean. I'm getting there at last!

Very nice lighting. There is a small speck in the sky on the left you may want to clone out, but otherwise, this is a very peaceful, pretty composition.

Thanks Amar. Hi Kim. Thanks for mentioning. It's actually a bird flying from a distance. I'm quite particular about spots and specks and usually test/check for it on my CCD.

That's the problem with birds in the distance, Alec - you can't tell it's a bird. I have a problem often with my water shots, taken on the Gulf, because of the numerous seagulls at varying distances. The close ones are fine, but the far away ones look like specks.

A lovely sunset! I particularly like the clarity of the silhouette against the colours of the sky.
