I like the way you have framed the cathredal

Nice shot Hanna. The perspective looks natural despite the tilt of the camera.

The framing and overall image sharpness here are great. I don't care as much for the blue area at the top--it seems like wasted space. Would you consider cropping a little?

 

Thankyou Angel and Colin, for your comments. Robert, I'm always willing to consider anything. I think here the extra sky is a matter of personal preference. I'm slightly claustrophobic, needing open spaces, lots of light etc. While your suggestion to crop doesn't offend me aesthetically, psychologically I need that sky there. Thanks for your input.

I like the way this is framed, too. I think the "extra" sky balances the blue in the lower image within the image. Nice lighting - the only thing that would have improved this would have been a dramatic sky, but you have to go with what you have on hand sometimes.

Thanks Detlef, and all those others who have stopped by here and commented since I last checked in. Being such a busy tourist city year round in Bath, shooting up is the only way to get an image without people in it.
