Um, Wilson ... did you steal this image from Ilkka? This is SO not Tsoi ... made me laugh right out loud. :-) Anyway ... the sky and windmills are great. Your foreground needed more fill flash. ;-) But, the big brown eyes are charming, so it all evens out in the end....
Thanks.... Joe: Don't hate me just because I'm dark. ^_^ Loft: Heerlijk, weet ik het...yum, yum! Lou Ann: Please don't insult Mr. & Mrs. Holstein. They consider themselves Dutch, while Ilkka's is a Swiss (although I doubt if it's an Appenzeller variety.) ^_^.
Wils Looks like you reposted with a lighter foreground or my light-shadow perception has gotten more acute. Yes? I can tell a definite difference that has, IMHO, improved the image.
This looks light enough to me - did you repost? Love the lighting and cow expression - priceless! The windmills in the background are a nice touch.
Thanks Jayme & Ken, Jayme: Hope you were thinking along the line of Renoir, Degas, or Vermeer. Alhtough, Gary Larson would have been equally flattering. ^_^ Ken: The dirt area was all covered with grass, until the cow on the right ate it bare....I think. ^_^
Wilson Cute shot. Agree that the foreground needs to be lighter. Is that one on the right eating dirt?

Wilson This reminds me of an old world painting. The artist's name escapes me at the moment. Because of the wonderful lighting on the cows, I don't feel it needs anymore light on either cow. The colors & clouds in the sky and the and the windmills are the perfect background. Just way too good!
7:6 Very nice and funny picture!!! Well done, Regards...
Kim, Ken,... ...I didn't do a single thing to it! BTW, it does look different at my office from at home. I went ahead and calibrated my monitor accordingly. ^_^
There is one question left: Where to hang up? Funny! RE
Wonderful picture. I'd give it a 7/7 except that the cow on the left is so dark. I think the contrast would work better if it were more visible. Just my thoughts though. Great work.

Mr & Mrs ?? My guess is two misses !
Very beautiful and original cow picture. The wind mills give nice feeling of space.
PS. Lou Ann, Family Holstein is not stolen from my backyard! My friends are here.
Very nice photo, i like "deep focus" in this shoot
I remember the Holstein family, their fondness for ripe cherries and apples, their uncanny ability to open the gate and to come visiting our fruit orchard as they pleased......
Thank you all for trying to figure out the Holsteins. They indeed can be tricky to figure out. ^_^
Very beautiful an funny pic. Great landscapes thouse you photograph them !
Just perfect 7/7 A perfect photo with just the right lighting. I think the Holstein sisters would have been a better title. I wonder how the ugly eartags disappeared, photoshop ?
"Mr. & Mrs. Holstein," a Couple's Portrait. Thoughts? Don't know what to categorize as. Was thinking, "wedding and social." ^_^
