Closing Time

Enjoy a good meal and some red wine.....then have a good cup of

black coffee and a pair of Baileys.... then use the wine glass as

tripod... and wish the waiter wil not be moving.

Lots of detail and I love the tones in this one. Even though there are many things in the composition, it still seems balanced and appealing, probably because the objects are lined up nicely.

Brad .. oh no, it was not the coffee keeping me up but yes .. it beccame very late/early next morning before getting to bed. Not so good before a hard working day.

Ken ... never tryed a wine glass as a tripod? You should try ... works some time.. and if it not works then the wine at least is a pleasure (-;

 

Lou Ann and Francesco ... I'm in "sepia mood" for the time being ... perhaps over doing it ... but of course I have a BW and a colour version of this too. On a danish photo site there has been great discussion of the 3 different versions because they look very different even it is still the same motive.

 

Doug ... it was a pleasant evening ... celebration of a friends birthday ( he was there too). I think the waiter is making a note to him self to remember to order more Baileys for the next day ... mmmm

Donna ... I took this after the Bailey's. We were the last guests and the waiter is only waiting for us to leave .... and we did shortly after this was taken. I asume it is our bill he is counting on here (o:

COOOOL - I (should) stop shooting after 2 beers. If I don't I'm usually not satisfied with the output. This one goes very well, even without drinks, here is a rhythm, the player, and the 3 light, 2x4 beer things(how do you say?) and the 3xX glass things on the right. The 3xlamps corresponding to the reflection in the window.
