Ken, I thought it was Peter's when first glanced! Great sharpness and detail. I like the linear blur added as well. If anything at all, I'd say slightly more flower at bottom and less green background at top. Magnificent! Best from you so far, I dare say. BTW, Tamron 90 f2.8 macro, too?

The lens is a Canon EF 100mm 1:2.8 macro. I've been very impressed with it. This shot was hand held.

Well done. Do I detect a little special effects behind of wings?

Ken, why can't I find butterflys this nice in Chicago and you can. You must have been on the nicer side of town. This might be the first time I have inspired anything. Love the detail and of course the motion blur.

Hi Ken! :-) Nice macro shot! (By the way, I'm laughing at myself as I write this! LOL!!) I also think that the blur is a cool effect. It's a bit too centered for my taste, but I like the color combinations ... green background against orange flower ... red, white and black in the wings. Nice capture!! :-D

Pretty cool - looks like he is just coming in for a wild landing! Nice colors and detail in your original, too, which helped make your effects work well.

Love the implied wing motion and the diagonal compostion. However, I find the light flower color and light lines around his top leg a little distracting. I like the way he seems to be looking at you!

Excellent! I love the capture of motion here. Sets this apart from most butterfly/bird shots. Well done.

This one really stands out. Vibrant colors and the blur really works here.
