timnichols 0 Posted September 9, 2004 Nice. Instead of distracting, the neon lights just define the place. Link to comment
extreme_images_2004 0 Posted September 9, 2004 1. The background is overexposed 2. The subject is underexposed Simple fix: bump up the shutter speed to expose the neon lights better and bump up the flash to get better lighting on the subject or you could leave as is (I like how bright the neon is) but bump up the flash so that the subject is lit better. oh yeah and on camera flash looks horrible on portraits, makes the subject look flat. psaga 0 Posted September 11, 2004 In my humble opinion the neons are really distracting. But this is not what troubles me. What bothers me most is the composition of the picture. The left arm is chopped off giving the impression that we look at an ancient sculpture with missing limbs. I also do not like the lightning in the picture. It is too harsh. I do not know if it was possible to make it look warmer under given circumstances. Link to comment
