samscholes 0 Posted September 8, 2004 This seascape looks surreal in a way, rather unnatural looking in some respects. Well done, a great capture. Link to comment
jmcconnell2 0 Posted September 8, 2004 Inspired shot Dave, fine sharpness and detail, and the color is fantastic. 7/6 Link to comment
ethan_lewis 0 Posted September 8, 2004 As others have said before, this looks very good...almost too good. I especially like the dull grey rocks in the foreground, which sets off the background of the sunset. It's hard to take a landscape shot that stands out from the thousands and thousands that have already been done, but IMO, you succeeded. 7/7 Link to comment
simanta 0 Posted September 8, 2004 nice colors.. but little too unnatural for my taste. Link to comment
timnichols 0 Posted September 8, 2004 Really nice! I like the variety from clouds, sunset, hills, water, beach, and rock. All comes together beautifully. Link to comment
swenson 0 Posted September 8, 2004 All the elements sunset, clouds, mountians, water, rocks work well together. Great shot. Link to comment
david robinson 0 Posted September 9, 2004 Dave I find this foreground to be a bit too cluttered and chaotic to be pleasing. It doesn't seem to intergrate well with the pleasing atmosphere of the rest of this scene. Link to comment
roberto p 0 Posted September 9, 2004 Love mostly one detail of this incredibly beautiful sunset: the little light-colored area just above the rocks on the right. It's the touch of the artist! Congrats! Link to comment
wayne_willis2 0 Posted September 9, 2004 composition alone is excellent with the curved shoreline leading to the sun. the colours are great. but its the flower on the rock and other small details which make this one uniquew Link to comment
salvatore.mele 1 Posted September 10, 2004 It's a great seascape to me, with the right amount of foreground, beach, water and background. I like the foreground plant, but I find that the bush/tree/branches on the right compet for attention with it. In such a rock and water shot, I think there is space just for one vegetal element, so I would not have gotten these brancjes in... Link to comment
dr dan 0 Posted September 10, 2004 I like the way my eye is led to the small passage between the rocks and then - there's the sun. 7/7 Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted September 11, 2004 I like the curve of the water line, the detail in the rocks and then a beautiful sky to top it off! Nice landscape shot, Dave. Link to comment
tc_reed 0 Posted September 12, 2004 Vivid and excellent approach in allowing the rocks to be a part of the frame. I love the mist hanging over the water in the distance. The overall color is what really appeals to me. The sky is so pulling me in. Link to comment
