"Surf" - A Fantasy in Smoke

This is a portion of a smoke shot, rotated 90 degrees

counterclockwise. It made me think of surf on a tropical beach,

backlit by a full moon. I think I'll play with this in the future by

adding a background.

Very good! We all should apreciate the use of such imagination and photographic skills in this era of PS manipulation... Just maybe a little bit less of black above?

First, there is NO manipulation via Photo Shop or any other software, at least in the strict sense. The only "manipulation" here was to raise the saturation, crop and then rotate the image. I also did a tiny bit of clean-up and speck removal, the image is as photograhed, even the colors.

 

The only creativity that went into making this, or most of the other smoke shots, is in the lighting set-up described in the details with each image.
