Peter, 90% are total strangers. This guy was a stranger for sure.

Nice capture. Another great use of your effect here. What makes this work so well is the great reflections of the light on his back and head. An interesting character indeed!

Isn't it amazing that you can visit a photographer's portfolio quite often and still miss many gems in the initial screenings! I feel like you've really recovered a marvelous image from the original source, simple, with a few elements and balanced just right. Another marvelous creation from the "Norman Rockwell" of photography. I only wish it had the rod and reel somewhere in the picture too.

Amazing. Aside from taking out the background and desturating, are you using any Photoshop filters? This is such an amazing shot (I know I've said that already). It reminds me of a Normal Rockwell illustration.
