This is a part of a five-armed lamp-post which lightning a pub in my

village. I've just take a shot of three arms because only they stand

against a clear blue eveningsky. The background of the other ones was

an ugly brown brick-stone wall of a nabour house. So you have to do

it with this. I hope you still like the graceful model of the lamp-

post and his beautiful chimney. I hope you will give me your comments.

Thank you all for your comments. I'm very glad you like my shot.

Simone: I also thougt that a little darker blue sky could be more nice. But this blue was the original colour of the sky at the moment I take the shot. Just that evening the lights were burning early. So I decided to let it be what it was.

And Tim, your reaction motivates me to get on with my great new hobby.

And sorry again for my English, but I hope that will even as my pictures still getting better!

So Ada, you get the taste in photograpy.

Every new picture is better than the one before.

You captured this well, the bleu is just fine.

Go on with all your expiriments.

Ada, My favourite of your posts. I like the arrangement of the lamp heads in the frame and the balance between the brightness of these lamps and the brightness of the sky. The contrast of colour between the cool sky and the warm lamps also enhances this shot & contributes heavily to its high visual impact. Worth printing in my opinion. Best, LM.

In contrast to some of the other contributor I really like the relative light sky (relative to the darkness for which the lamp is intended). If your shot allowed to have a bit more metal at the bottom, the lamps would give a bit more the feeling of a single lamp, which I would have appreciated.
