audrey lee reid 0 Posted September 5, 2004 Picture was taken in colour, blue skies white clouds etc...thought B&W gives more mood? Link to comment
doug_dolde 11 Posted September 12, 2004 Great composition and yes it looks good in b/w. My only wish would be that the top of the umbrella did not intersect the horizon...picky I know. Link to comment
audrey lee reid 0 Posted September 12, 2004 Thank you Doug, you know until you pointed that out, I had not noticed, and you're right! No you are not picker, just good eyes. Link to comment
neild 1 Posted October 25, 2005 Very nice composition here, and some grain added? The sky is dramatic, and I like the layering effect of sky/sea/sand.The F828 - how do you like this camera? Link to comment
audrey lee reid 0 Posted October 25, 2005 Hi Neil, nice to see/hear from you. I've been looking at your beautiful NZ beach shot - will run by there soon. I love the 828. Its very easy to use. I also have a fancy canon, but prefer this for easy use...not really a gear person, just as long as I can pick up and shoot, anything will do really:) Link to comment
neild 1 Posted October 25, 2005 Well, I guess I am a gear person... but I'm not ashamed to use my little P&S when the situation suggests it!:-) Link to comment
audrey lee reid 0 Posted October 25, 2005 Neil, I can't find that black beach shot of yours?? Link to comment
dave_dube 10 Posted April 26, 2007 Audrey, great photo and story with this one. Please, get rid of the noise and re-post. Make the clouds as dramatic as they look through all of that 'snow'. Link to comment
