WJT 627 Posted September 11, 2004 Hi Duane. You are the only other person that I know (beside myself), to have taken a photograph at this location. Because of its orientation, I have always found the lighting there to be a real challenge. I think you did a Very Good job on this photograph. Regards. Link to comment
sallycd 0 Posted September 14, 2004 Wow! you got an impressive bio, imagine been to numerous States and places and the interactions you have been having and be having in the future. This one is almost a painting. It's razor sharp and the color saturations are perfect. Thanks for sharing and also I thank you for rating one of my photos... Link to comment
lgreene 0 Posted October 5, 2004 Great perspective. I feel like I am sitting on the rocks just taking it all in! Link to comment

thadley 15 Posted February 22, 2012 Tricky lighting which you have managed fairly well. In the digital world, I would have taken 5 shots about 1 stop apart in rapid succession and make some decisions back at the computer on how to process and what I wanted to show. Here is another perspective - not better - just different Link to comment
zensphoto 0 Posted March 3, 2012 This was taken a bit ago on film. The haze in the scan was from Sam's club photo scanner. I later go a nice Canon 8800F and scanned the Slide again to come up with this shot. http://gallery.photo.net/photo/7796648-lg.jpgA lot more detail came out in the new scan. I haven't been down in the falls area since I shot this photograph, I usually just shoot it from up above now with my digital camera. This was a film photograph I took for my classes at NYIP that I was taking for Professional Photography in 2004 - 2006. I'll try and get back to blue hen again this year and try shooting this photograph again from the nearly exact same spot and see how it differs in digital than it did on Fuji Slide film. Thanks for the compliment and interesting idea making it a portrait instead of a landscape. Thanks Duanehttp://gallery.photo.net/photo/7796648-lg.jpg Link to comment
zensphoto 0 Posted March 3, 2012 The above photograph is the same negative just scanned at home. When I was there photographing the scene that is basically how it looked. Not the Sam's Club scan that I originally posted back in 2004. Link to comment
