rkfoxman 0 Posted September 3, 2004 This is a similar photo to another one I put up a couple of days ago (http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2660402). Curious which one you like best? Any? :) Thanks for the feedback/critique. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 3, 2004 I dont know for the other one, but I like this one very much. great balance of light and contrast in b&W. only IMHO I would crop more of the left part til the mountains in the back, you have a line in the upper left, I would make a more greater impact by crop it and yes I really can feel the Vertigo. Superb! Love the power of the sea!!!! Thank you Biliana Link to comment
petejr 0 Posted September 3, 2004 Wonderful image that shows the scope and majesty of this area. I do have one small complaint and that is that the image is tilted to the left. And I can't help but comment on Biliana's comment about the power of the sea. The clouds are very suggestive of the ocean. Link to comment
rkfoxman 0 Posted September 3, 2004 Pete: I see your point about the tilt. Interesting, I haven't noticed it before and could have sworn the shot was straight :) Biliana: not sure if you meantioned sea as an alegory. Yes, indeed, the Yosemite valley hundreds of meters below does look like one. Link to comment
ramthakur 0 Posted September 3, 2004 Palpable feel of vertigo there! Excellent capture. Link to comment
salvatore.mele 1 Posted September 3, 2004 I like this vertical framing over the other, horizontal, shot. The only problem which I have is in the pose of this guy, which is taking a piucture while being awkwardly bent somehow... it would have been possibly more interesting if he was to stand in front of the magnificence of the place, so to say... Cheers, Link to comment
stuart_myrhow 0 Posted September 4, 2004 I like this one. Best shot I have seen from there. I ususally shoot from about 5000 feet lower. Link to comment
halim 0 Posted October 6, 2008 wonderful catch ...............i think the shot with out him wouldn't be as intresting as it is now cuase he realy ads to the shot by showing the scale of the place...great Link to comment
