bekster 0 Posted September 3, 2004 Gaetan, this view makes me want to be there and walk on the deck...(sigh) Is there water to the right? I believe I'd like a room in the tower. What do Terrasse Dufferin and Chateau Frontenac translate to in Texan by the way, just curious? Link to comment

kyang 0 Posted September 3, 2004 The building is really great as the subject. And there is lot good detail here. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
gaetanchevalier 5 Posted September 4, 2004 The walk on the deck is Terrasse Dufferin and can be translated to 'terrace' Dufferin and Chateau Frontenac is 'castle' Frontenac. I hope that I understand well your question. Yes there is water to the right it is the St-Lawrence river. To have a room in this hotel is a dream for many people and for me also. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted September 4, 2004 The chateau seems to have a special appeal for you, gaetan, and I can see why. Dramatic architecture, colours and setting. Nice contrast here between the foreground and the chateau. regards Colin Link to comment

robidooo 0 Posted September 12, 2004 Greatly captured. I would have liked to see the flag completely but I can understand that it is hard to capture it straight with the wind next to the St-Laurent. Link to comment
