Hi Howard Without reading the other comments let me say how much I like this. They are beautiful leaves to begin with...the bleeding of red makes them stunning. But the way you cropped, your lighting....your EYE created the result which is so pleasing....
May I say I waited for this version? Sure, I couldnt know, but this picture is compelling in its expression. The leaves lively, the frame... o. k. you know you find the better solutions! RE
This is beautiful, Howard; I like the colors and the way the leaves seem translucent. Nice work.
fantastic!! like a natural abstract!!!!!!
Hi Howard, I like this version much more, perhaps because of the vertical framing that compliments the actual leaves, and the overall composition. The negative space is well distributed and not objectionalble at all (contrary to the other version,) IMHO.

Howard Yep, I like this one best. Caladium leaves are one of mother nature's abstracts screaming at us! The flow of this one is around and around, I like that. Nice job!
Nice shot! Cropping only the top 2/3rd would probably look better.

I liked the other ... but I like this one better. The close-up feel, and the tight crop give a very abstract feel. Nice!

Wonderfull Howard. Almost abstract. Fine colors and contrast. Works good.
Exquisite. original, calming, pretty, has a depth to it visually and emotionally. its quite touching to me.
Yeh Howard An eye popper and a great improvement. Isn't it nice to useful suggestions from talented photogs to improve your work? Love it. That's what really makes this site worthwhile.
It looks great. It is very, very striking!
This is very beautiful, love the starburst of color!
