henrimanguy 0 Posted September 1, 2004 This little harbour is situated at the peak of Trevignon, near Pont- Aven, a little town of Brittany, famous since the french painter Paul Gauguin has found here the "?le de Pont-Aven" (Pont-Aven School). Having passed my hollydays here, I have taken many photos of seascapes on this place. What do you think of this one, and which do you prefer from this one and the previous ( href="ahttp://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2659592"> Le port de Tr鶩gnon ) ? Thank you for your ratings and comments. Link to comment
schneekranich 0 Posted September 1, 2004 From the three I like this one best, the sky is well-lit and the stones form a nice "frame" for the little haven. Link to comment
biskamp 1 Posted September 2, 2004 I agree with Andrea, this one is the best, though the format is unconventional. The dark sky balances the rocky part, which is nicely framed by the two larger boulders. Link to comment
photos of hans koot 0 Posted September 2, 2004 I fully agree with Mario. Heavy weight sky and foreground, well balanced. Attractive! For the Maurienne, in case you are interested, we walked here http://www.petitmontcenis.com/promenades.htm But many nice places are around here! Link to comment
matthew leong 0 Posted September 2, 2004 This shot is the best mainly because of the dark moody sky, but beware I still can see traces of circular brush mark on the sky. Need to tidy them up using the healing brush. Link to comment
ljk 0 Posted September 2, 2004 I really like this one. The boulders balance the heavy sky, and the boats are tiny in comparison...man vs nature. Very good composition! Link to comment
mr.omar 4 Posted September 2, 2004 everything seems excellent here, great timing, everything sharp... Link to comment
