aepelbacher 0 Posted August 29, 2004 Oh, yeah ... I actually double checked the photographer's name to be sure it WASN'T Francesco!! :-) Nice knock-off, Howard!! ;-) Link to comment

jayme 0 Posted August 29, 2004 The composition is wonderful, and the color of the foreground is perfect, but IMHO the sky and UV haze are too cyan. I would use a either the red photo filter in PSCS or a red gradient to cut the cyan and make it more of a natural blue. Hope you don't mind. I attached my suggestions. Oh those Midwest Fields, don't you just love them! Link to comment
afterthoughts 0 Posted August 29, 2004 Thanks, I was trying to solve that problem. Check your e-mail. Link to comment
kslonaker 0 Posted August 29, 2004 Great color, Howard. I like that curving shape in the foreground, too. Link to comment
r_e 0 Posted August 29, 2004 Thats the best aspect at this forum, that everybody is inspired by everybody. In this case I prefer the solution of Jayme. This problem I know of my pictures as well... RE Link to comment

home page1 0 Posted August 30, 2004 Very nice and I agree that changing the cyan as per Jayme's suggestion is worthwhile. Link to comment
kristin_morales 0 Posted August 30, 2004 I like this inspired photo...especially the furrow patterns...if I could break out of my comfort zone and photograph something besides people I would choose landscapes. Thank you Howard for leaving helpful comments. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted August 30, 2004 Howard, did you relocate to Italy?......Different from your habitual work and very well captured! Pnina Link to comment
wilsontsoi 0 Posted September 1, 2004 Just got back, Howard, so wasn't exactly sure what the original post looked like. As of 1-Sep, looks good to me. I like the detail in the land area, but find that the sky could be a bit more interesting. Still nice. Link to comment
