You was there, you saw it and you shoot it. Congratulation for doing that, I lot of people would not have seen the beautiful picture that was waitng to be taken.

I am back (swartsenegger;)))

This is fine picture, how you capture the kid in the (very Italian)painted wall is very nice. it is like an opera scene. beside that I like the composition to, color lines and planes. good.

Like you other two pictures to one humor the other the composition.

Just a dash tighter, and a little selective burning and dodging would move this up to a 7/7 from a 6/6. Great light, textures, line, form and center of interest. A real award winner. Hope you see the difference in a positive light. Blessings, MS

I'm really glad to read so many comments, thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Michael, I'm pretty sure ALL of my pictures can be made much better with a good editing. The problem is that I believe image editing is a form of art on it's own and I'm really not good at that :)

Nobody starts a master. Even Michelangelo studied under the masters first. You have a good eye and these postings will get a few people who really know what they are talking about to help you out. Just make sure you go and see their portfolio first before taking their advice, many are clueless. The blind leading the blind scenario.

And editing is an art form in itself, and most of these artists fail in this department. Cameras generally take good pictures, but only of whatever you decide to point it at. I crop in camera as best I can, then get out cropping cards (two L shaped mats) and move them around until I crop out the distracting elements and balance the image, as I did with yours.
