We went to Kirkland, and at the sunset I shoot her this portrait.

This was obviously a great moment for a memorable photograph. For the future you may consider a diffuser for the flash. For "built in" flashes I usually pack a small sleeve of bubble wrap. It helps reduce the harsh reflections from the subjects face and lets enough light through to offset a bright background. Good job on capturing a great moment.

Thanks for the hint. Actually I'm working to use a reduced power fill-flash, but I appreciate every suggestion. Thanks again.
