Leuk idee Wim, maar het licht klopt niet. Het kind zijn sterks belichte kant is op de molen de schaduwzijde. Dat maakt de foto te overduidelijk fake.

Goed opgemerkt, tja ik wist het, maar mijn neefje Mike had ik eerst aan de andere kant ingepland maar daar paste het niet zo mooi bij die molen.

Dus heb ik Mike horizontaal omgedraaid en aan de andere kan neergeplakt.

Tja, het leven bestaat uit compromissen.

Great job, Wim. There is only one little detail you must change to complete this real Dutch scene: Make Mike's hair Orange! That must be 'een fluitje van een cent' in PS.

At first glance, I thought this might be Keukenhof (sp?).

Wonderful shot.

 

Here are a few thoughts that might help improve if you ever try it again:

 

- I'm not crazy about the border. My eyes are drawn to the bright colors and I think that it distracts from the subject matter.

 

- The boy looks like he is playing with one of his toys. Having the boy smile might make it more playful.

 

- The road and street lamp kind of distract from the photo as well. The road leads towards nothing.
