vincenzo_corbo 0 Posted August 21, 2004 Driving through the Stanley Park in Vancouver you can find a spot just in front of the Lion Bridge. I've intensionally exposed for the street below me just to let the end of the bridge disappear. Where are the cars going? Link to comment

stato19 0 Posted August 21, 2004 The whole top of this image is blown out. The exposure is all wrong. If you camera will allow bracket you exposure. If not, take several shots at differnet exposure settings. Link to comment
paf29 0 Posted August 21, 2004 The bridge is overexposed, the shutter speed is around 1/30 - 1/15, insufficient for produce the effect you're expecting. Try 1/8 with a smaller aperture next time and measure the light at the bridge. Link to comment
vincenzo_corbo 0 Posted August 21, 2004 The effect I would like to obtain was to get the bridge diseappear due to an exposure on a darker area, for instance the street below me. So I have the street "correctly exposed" and the end of the bridge completely overexposed. The use of a reatively long time is shown by the three cars and the motorbike in the bottom of the image. For sure there is a blue overcast. Link to comment
