Really a nice photo Hector... the fish is very sharp and you have enough DOF for the bird's head as well. I really like the relative positions (fish sideways) of the subjects. Excellent!

A classic predator/prey shot. Stark composition with two eyes bringing the story to a climax. There is peculiar alikeness to these two body organs: they are both bugging with excitement. Or so it seems.

 

I wonder what the fish is thinking here?

Nice catch... for both you and the bird. I give you many many props for your unique takes on birds and having the patience to see through a perfect execution.

Besides the excellent relative positions of the subjects, let's look at the eyes. The color and texture of the background complement well too.

Good catch. Nice detail in the both the bird and the fish, which is hard to get. The composition is a little awkward to me. If this was a crop, I'd try some different ones.

Worth for a thousand words...
