ada-ipenburg 0 Posted August 15, 2004 Very, very well done! I can feel the threat of stormy weather and in the meantime there is the calm that the fishermen radiates. Beautiful! Link to comment

roy_morris 0 Posted September 15, 2004 I love your gallery. This image struck a chord with me, so I thought I'd put my comments here. First of all, I found your gallery to have a more consistent and personal vibe than that of many professionals. The cold, dark, stormy weather, the disassociated impression from so many of the human subjects turned away from the camera, and the masculine sense of geometry (I was doubly surprised to see your self portrait -- you're female, and very attractive!) are recurring themes that you use very well. You definitely have the gift of "seeing" an image. Many photographers would treat this situation as a straight landscape opportunity, but I found the inclusion of the fishermen perfectly in tune with the rest of your gallery. The dock fits in with the recurring sense of geometric shapes. Also, you're lucky to live somewhere with such dramatic weather! Your talent can take you far, so keep it up! Link to comment
