Ken ... I like the sky and the row of boats to the left. However, the boat to the right is somewhat distracting IMO. Did you shoot without the boat on the right as well?

Ken, tell me if the sky wasn't a real pain to manipulate! (BTW, why not just clone out the top left cloud?) Eventually, some people are probably going to say the water has to be darker than the sky. I like the overall feel of the scenery and the big boat helps balance out the image and provide depth reference point.

How perceptive of you! You're right. The sky was a real job. Had a lot of artifact in it when I compressed it to a jpeg. I agree that without the boat on the right, image would lack balance and perspective, as well as interest. You're probably right about the cloud at the upper left.

As usual, your constructive criticisms are worthwhile. Specifically, the water is darker and I've cloned out the clouds in the upper left. Thanks again for your edifying comments. We all are here to learn and consider worthwhile comments.

Sometimes what you don't know is better. In this case there are two levels of appreciation. The first is for the image itself and the second is for the maker's skills in using technology to improve the image. So based on what I read, bravo for both. HJD

Hi Ken, aside from making it more realistic, the darker water really bring out the reflection, giving the image even more depth. To cap it off, I'll loan you the 2 girls from "Iao Needle" and they can skinny dip in the forground...

This is very nice, the composition is perfect. I rated before, but hadn't had a chance to comment. The clouds almost look painted, wonderful. Instead of the 2 girls Wilson, what about just you again doing the back stroke this time?
