Fili, very good first effort with IR. The tonal range is so very different in IR and objects vary in how they respond in this wavelength. You have excellent compositional skills and your work will easily improve with more experience. For me, I find that striking a balance between my light and dark elements is very important to acheiving a satisfying image. Otherwise things look very washed out. Also become more aware of the sky as clouds give excellent IR effects against the blue sky, which does not reflect IR, and so gives great contrast. Here your sky is weak. Anyway, I look forward to seeing more from you. You will have much fun working with IR.

Welcome to IR, FILI! you know, sometimes when you try a new effect, you forget about other things that so important in photography - composition, for example. very good that you didn't! I agree with David about the sky.

Your portfolio is definitely something to be proud of. You have a keen eye for mood - I really enjoy that about your photographs. Keep it up. As far as the sky in this shot is concerned, well, it may not be dramatic but it works for me. It's smooth and thus lets the bicycle have all the attention.
