Yes I did try ot brighten this phtos but doing this remove the beauty of the light and colors. This shot was taken when the sun was already set and it was a dim light situation. Thank you for your comment.

Very aesthetic scenery, I love the sky and reflections here. Beautiful colors, I would not touch the foreground and the sky. To pull some detail out of the trees, I made a shadow/highlight adjustment layer in PS masked only for this region. What do you think ? In your original shot the trees act as silhouette. Not sure.
