I guess you like it or hate it. However, emptying the cans was fun!

A fun project with beer cans. Would appreciate feedback!

This is a very interesting idea and it is well-executed...however, maybe it is so original that extreme ratings should be expected! Still, this photo is underrated. I really like the way the ice is captured ... it conveys a feeling of vigour. Cheers.

 

P.S. I appreciate that you have uploaded the other three photos of the series. Pity no one has commented on them yet. I personally like 'Iced Australian' the most!

Low ratings are a part of this. Sure! I don't like them unless they can be justified but in the end it is the comments from those you respect that matter.

I will not get into the ratings issues. It is another innovative image with the McCrakken feel to it. All in all it is a great job and I will not mention black and white or women.

I still don't care for beer from cans!

However, I love the concept, execution and photos. 7/7

Just an experiment Owen. Women are more fun to photograph in colour OR b & w. Beer cans are more obliging........ unless your name is Owen.

Each to their own. I have an idea though. If you want to photograph cans, I will empty them for you and then you can photograph them.

Owen, yes, are women more fun in color or bw? Beer well can be fun in a can or in a bottle.

I have to agree with owen, women are more fun... But I guess it will be difficult to freeze them up like that (although, in some situations... hm) :-)

'frozen assets' and 'same but diffrent' are my favorites!

Interesting idea for a series. Very nicely done.

I suppose the ultimate would be to photograph girls and beer at the same time..... Well! Maybe not. Come to think of it I have done that already but it wasn't with a naked girl!

This was quite a simple exercise really. Looking at your work is drving me to do something more complicated. If I can get results half as good as yours I will be happy.

Guess we're not gonna have hangovers in the morning huh, David?! I like the Aussie version the best. What a wonderful idea! You should redo the Heiny, a Sapporo, and maybe a Bud in the similar state as the Fosters. How cool! ^_^

Thanks as always. These photos are really a hit or a miss as I can't control the way the ice behaves. At the end of the day it was an experiment with mixed results..... a bit like life itself.

I like it a lot (although Iced Australian is my favorite of the series too). The frozen bubbles make it in my mind. Original idea and interesting composition.
