This is a very nice shot, but I think the little pile of rocks in the center at the very bottom of the frame is distracting. A minor crop could take care of it. I would also back off a little on the polarizer to keep the sky from being quite so black at the top of the frame.

Nice landscape, Alec! May be a tad too heavy with the polarizer on the blue sky? Still, very good my friend.

I've just right click and downloaded the picture (don't get too angry) and play a bit with the channel mixer in photoshop. Looks good in B&W too.

Hey Alec, this is yet another brilliant photograph. The depth blows me away. The detail in the foliage foreground and the shadowing of the valley wall in the distance....priceless. I don't mind the deep blue sky either, it balances the deep green foliage up front. This is right up my street! Well done.

Hi everyone. I just got back from a long weekend in Malaysia and didn't have time to check my PN site. I didn't actually sent this for critique yet and was pleasantly surprised that it had so many hits. Thanks for taking the time to view it.

Alex, beautiful scenary. Lovely foreground and clouds. If you allow me to make a couple of suggestions:There's no harm cropping off some of the inconsistently dark areas of the sky. Cropping off the top 1/5 of the frame may help.Use PS to locally saturate the mountains might strengthen the main subject.

As it is, the image is already beautifu!

Yes Arthur, the sky is a tad dark due to the polariser but this makes it special as I like how the powder puff cloud at the top is accentuated. I could have as you suggested saturated the mountains locally but I tried to keep it in it's original colors. Thanks for contributing, your landscapes are truly special.

Fantastic landscape shot. While the colors are also very nice, the most interesting point from this photo for me is the depth. I think i can't almost feel the place. nice one!

Ben, this is an experiment on extreme polarising filter to bring out the dark sky. Glad you like it too.
