Do I dare to ask if you might consider cropping this one to a perfect square frame by simply eliminating the entire left 1/3rd of the frame. I feel there is not enough information in this portion to do the remainder of the image justice.? I like the peek from in theshadows feel of the remainder.

Sure Matty, you can download a square here if you like to show me. I just wanted to play with the shadow areas here that's why it was included. The details are still visible although it's only just leaves on the left. Just an experiment. (",)

I tried something different here. Composed on the shadows and and

highlight areas to check the D70 for tonal quality and EV ratio. I am

quite pleased with the results. Care to share your opinion?

I go up there a few times a week I start at point ferman and make my way down to Manhattan Beach. I have taken some pictures from this same area . but I didnt keep them I like the view you took. mite have to go for a drive today there. Wade Rose
