Spring Chestnut

ian cameron

This wonderful chestnut tree growing in a meadow near Castleton in the Peak District was photographed in unremarkable light. However I think the soft uninspiring light and bland background contrast nicely with a tree simply bursting with fresh Spring growth. I find the picture very satisfying.

A wonderful chestnut tree bursting with renewed Spring growth

contrasts nicely with the sombre uninspiring light. A beacon in the

gloom.

Awesome! Bright overcast is often the best for details of landscapes or forest shots - when the sky can be eliminated. Well done.

I can't stop looking at this, very calm composition and beautiful green colour of tree leaves, gray sky matches with foreground
